Golden Age of Adventure is an experience planning company dedicated to helping people 40+ squeeze more adventure into and out of their lives! Our adventures are exciting and challenging, but also well-organized, safe and enjoyable. We've had the good fortune of exploring so much of this planet, and developed contacts, skills and knowledge that we are happy to use to help you turn your wish list into true stories to be told! SIgn up for one of our scheduled expeditions or contact us directly to design a bespoke adventure for you (and your family, company, etc). Either way, we are stoked to spend some of the very best times of your life with you!
Andrea has recently retired from 30 years owning/operating a busy lakefront resort in Haliburton, Ontario. While Bonnie View Inn is already an amazing legacy, Andrea is now very excited to use all the same talents she has gained to help others create amazing lives of their own. Among the many hats she has worn (and continues to wear), Andrea is a wedding/event planner, a snowboard instructor/instructor evaluator, coach and sought-out consultant.
Andrea has just barely reached the official "Golden Age", as she celebrated her 50th in October, and she is ready to roll with adventures galore!
Johnny has spent the last decade creating incredible adventures for others all over the world. As a race director he has executed safe and challenging courses in all kinds of terrain - forest, urban, desert, jungle, rivers, lakes. And he has also facilitated climbing expeditions, surfing vacations, coaching retreats and more - in Canada, US, Central America, South America, Europe, Asia. And as a life coach and speaker, he has helped thousands of individuals improve their lives. He is super stoked to now be working together with Andrea to create bigger and better experiences for like-minded people looking to make the absolute most of their spins on this big blue ball.
Andrea and Johnny met in February 2015 and started dating "not seriously, of course, as we are both too busy for a real relationship". 10 months, 9 countries and one iconic mountain climbed later, they were married in December 2015 in Mendoza, Argentina. Since then they have supported one another's businesses - Andrea as resort owner/operator and Johnny as global race director, while still finding time to organize epic adventures for others in exciting locations around the world. Having both recently retired from their separate endeavours, they are now focused solely on sharing their Golden Age of Adventure with others!
